February meeting was expected to be small due to the hard rainfall in Southern California. To everybody.s surprise it ended up being the largest meeting of the year yet and the food on the menu was lasagna created by our new meeting locations owners.

This meeting Freaky brought his Mac Mini for everybody to check out, but without a keyboard and mouse for first turn on the Mac Mini is rendered useless (error message: attach keyboard and mouse). This is not the case after first setup. The Mac Mini is 6.5×6.5×2 weighing less than 3lbs.

Wiggy returned from Washington D.C. after attending Shmoocon with Cyber and Pyro to report to the group on how the conference was. Word on the street is that video was floating around the Internet from some of the talks but was not confirmed. His overall opinion is that next year the whole group should attend the conference.

Hector followed Wiggy.s talk with an overview of the Linux conference happening that weekend getting people involved and motivated to attend as well as give a follow-up to his visit to a conference he attended the last week.
